More than 120 people participated in the celebration of Epiphany in Moscow on the night of January 19, reports the Press Service of the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs. More than 100 Orthodox churches, temples and monasteries of the city conducted the solemn services and distributed consecrated water. On the night of January 19, believers celebrated the baptism of Christ and dipped into the consecrated waters, recalling the day when Jesus was 30 years old and came to the Jordan River from Galilee to be baptized with water by John the Baptist
