Counting just over 18% of Georgian parliamentary votes suggested that the opposition party "The Georgian dream" with its leader Bidzina Ivanishvili, has edged out Mikhail Saakashvili's "United National Movement," RIA Novosti news agency reported.
Georgia's Central Election Commission reports that Ivanishvili's coalition has 53.3% and the incumbent United National Movement has 41.6%.
Other parties that participated in the vote all got less than 5%, the minimum amount to enter parliament.
