Investigative Committee will return to Ksenia Sobchak the millions of dollar of various currencies seized during a search of her house. The audit showed that the money was earned legally. Sobchak has not yet received the money, but said that her mood is now "a million dollars." TV presenter frustrating is that, most likely, it will not wait for an apology from those who accused her of concealing income.

On Thursday the Investigative Committee website reported that "the reason for withholding Sobchak's funds in the UK are no longer valid." Audits have proved that the TV presenter earned the money legally, and found no evidence of tax evasion, the IC reports.

"In accordance with the existing instructions of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the money seized from Sobchak, stored at designated bank accounts in the UK... Will be returned to the owner - Ksenia Sobchak - by bank transfer to her bank account," said in a message from the UK site where the money is being held.

"The money hasn't been returned yet,"  Sobchak writes in her Twitter. "On the phone with lawyers - just informed of the fact that they are going to return the money. Let's hope. I do not know the truth if I will get the money, but the mood for the evening is like a million dollars!"

The search of her house was held in connection with the verification involvement in the riots on May 6 opposition leader Ilya Yashin.  The money was withheld for more than three months - 107 days. Investigators seized € 1,1 million, $ 522 thousand and 485 thousand rubles. Sobchak tried to recover the funds in court, but twice the court took the side of the IC.
