The pro-Putin rally on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow has finished. According to the police, it gathered some 120 thousand people.

On Friday Vladimir Putin thanked those who would come to Poklonnaya for supporting him and spoke about threats coming from the "orange opposition".

The police estimated the number of participants at Poklonnaya as 128 thousand, while the Bolotnaya opposition meeting was attended by 36 thousand.

"The Bolotnaya square meeting was attended by a maximum of 36 thousand people," RIA Novosti reported, citing police.

This number is laughed at by Twitter users – witnesses of the Bolotnaya meeting who say some 80 people attended it.
