A driver in the Kemerovo region, after violating traffic rules, refused to pay a fine of 1,000 rubles, saying that it was pointless, since the world would end in December, local bailiffs reported on Friday.
As they explained, the man got into a small accident and received a fine. However, he refused to pay the fine, and wrote a 10 sheets explanation for it: according to his calculations, the end of world will happen in December 2012, and there is no use in paying the fine.
«The debtor did not only talk about the end of world, but everyday he brings schemes, drawings, diagrams of his own which prove that there will be the end of world in December," the bailiffs wrote.
«He believes that if people become kinder to each other, and if they forgive each other's debts, there would be no end of wolrd," said the bailiff Irina Felzinger
